I lived in New York most of my life. I originally took courses in high school to become a veterinary. That did not
work out the way I planned it. I found out I was allergic to cats my senior year high school. the way I dound out that
I was allergic to cats was because I was working in a animal hospital at the time. I had what I thought was a cold that i
could not get rid of. So I did what most people in that situation would do. I went to the doctor to find out what was wrong.
At that point the doctor ran a bunch of test to find out what was wrong with me. The cold seemed to be getting worse as time
went on. When the doctor got the test results back it showed that I was allergic to cats. So I was not sure what i wanted
to do as a career. I knew I loved working with people. So I had various jobs such as bank teller, server, asset locator that
dealt with people. In each one of the jobs I always was put in the position of training people. I love working with children.
This is why I think I would be freat at teaching. Right now I am taking classes at Edison College to get my Associates of
Education Degree. After finishing that I plan on going to Barry University to get my teaching degree.
